Neha Bhasin is an Indian singer-songwriter, film actress, performer, and
TV hostess and was a member of the Indian pop girl group Viva. Neha is
playing a lead role in movie "Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi".
Neha Bhasin was born on November 18, 1982 in Delhi in a Punjabi Khatri family, India to Ashok Bhasin and Rekha Bhasin and has an elder sister and a younger brother.She comes from a family that has always been into music. Both her Mother & her Grandmother are fantastic singers and she grew up swooning to their sweet voices. She first went to the Frank Anthony Private School in Delhi, where her first dreams of becoming a superstar or performer shaped up. She later joined the Lady Shri Ram College for Women in New Delhi, where she graduated in sociology honors. Her first ‘performance’ was in her third standard as she stood up in front of the music class to sing ‘Do Re Mi’. On hearing her Mr. Dias, her music teacher & her first inspiration, said ‘You have a beautiful voice.’ She was nine years old and hearing those words She felt like a sellout performer! Before She knew it her journey in the world of music had begun.
